Berkeley Research Institute is a California coalition-based service, not affiliated with the Berkeley Rent Stabilization Board or other city government agencies. This grass-roots coalition provides social impact statements and economic reports, based on academic research and exploratory findings.
Due to the sensitive nature of our research, many final reports remain confidential and they are only presented in an aggregate form or to specific organizations. When information is presented please present as much verifiable data as you can, along with the social, economic, environmental, and emotional effects it presents. When summiting information please indicate the level of confidentiality desired. While the organization offers no guarantee of confidentiality, as a matter of policy the organization will try to balance privacy concerns with the need to share data with economists, statisticians, mathematicians, demographers, public policy advocates, and others.
